Musical Artists Engaged in Blood Performance

Satan Panonski would cut himself, smash bottles over his head and pierce himself with safety pins during his punk shows in Croatia. He called these acts "auto-destruction". In Panonski's eyes, auto-destruction would release viewers from the "barricades put on by education and other brainwashing tortures".

This catalogue of musically-related blood performance is an attempt to trace its origins through certain times, scenes and genres.

To make the list, ideally:

The blood would be that of the artist.

The blood would be intentionally spilled.

These acts would happen live, onstage.

However, some exceptions will be made to feature musical artists working in the blood medium, or to include relevant blood artists who have touched on musical mediums.
